Carriers: We primarily use reliable carriers like UPS and FedEx. For larger, heavier items, we utilize LTL freight carriers (e.g., FedEx Freight, R & L).

Origin & Handling: Most orders ship from our manufacturer's warehouse in Chicago, IL or warehouse near you. Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days (M-F), with a 3:00 PM CST cut-off.

Transit Times (US): Standard transit is generally 2-3 business days to all US destinations, resulting in an estimated total delivery time of 2-4 business days from placement.

Free Shipping: We offer free standard ground shipping on orders in stock totaling $1,100.00 or more within the contiguous United States via FedEx Ground.

Expedited Options: Next-day and two-day air services are available for urgent needs. Contact us for quotes and availability.

International: We ship to the US, Canada, Mexico, and most international destinations. Allow 3-5+ additional business days for processing. Customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.

HAZMAT: Certain items (CPVC, fire extinguishers, etc.) cannot ship via USPS or air and may incur special fees.

Important Note for Freight (LTL)
Thoroughly inspect all LTL shipments for damage before accepting delivery. If damage is present, refuse the delivery and contact us immediately to arrange a replacement.

Once shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. All shipping times are estimates provided by the carriers and are not guaranteed.

Our Return Policy

Effective: April 30, 2025

Your satisfaction is important to Fire Protection Parts. Please review our policy for returns.

General Returns
We accept returns of most new, unused, and resalable items in original packaging within 30 days of receipt. A valid proof of purchase is required.

Initiation: Contact us at info@fireprotectionparts.net to start a return and obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

Shipping: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs to: Fire Protection Parts Returns, 2135 City Gate Ln #3018, Naperville, IL, 60563.

Restocking Fee: A 25% restocking fee will be applied to all eligible returns.

Return and Refund Process
Request RMA: Email info@fireprotectionparts.net.

Package Securely: Include the RMA number clearly inside the package.

Refunds: Once inspected, refunds (less the 25% restocking fee and original shipping) will be credited to your original payment method within 14 business days.

Exceptions
Defective/Damaged Items: Contact us immediately upon receipt for instructions.

Exchanges: Place a new, separate order for the desired item and return the original for a refund (subject to terms).

Special Order Items: These are non-returnable and non-refundable unless the manufacturer accepts the return.
